Post-Treatment Precautions: Fraxel / Laser
Fraxel
- Fraxel tip marks, redness, and discomfort may last for about 3–7 days after the procedure.
- Avoid cleansing your face on the day of the procedure; you may begin cleansing the following day.
- Do not pick at peeling skin—allow it to shed naturally.
- Avoid saunas and baths until flaking has completely subsided (about one week).
- Dryness may occur after the procedure, so apply moisturizer and regeneration cream generously.
- Avoid using exfoliating products.
- When going outdoors, sunscreen is essential.
Laser
- Apply regeneration cream (moisturizer) carefully to the treated area (do not use scrubs).
- On the day of the procedure, only cleanse lightly with water.
- Avoid smoking, alcohol, hot and humid environments (such as saunas), and strenuous exercise for 1–2 weeks.
- Apply sunscreen to prevent pigmentation.
- Allow any flaking or scabs to fall off naturally without force.
- Temporary heat sensation, redness, or pain may occur after the procedure. If symptoms are severe or persist, contact the clinic.
